In this new ongoing series of acrylics on canvas I am recreating snapshots of quiet moments that I captured in real life just before something in the scene shifted.
By using washes and layering acrylic paint to slowly construct the mood in the scenes I want the viewer to feel the quiet and stillness in the sometimes awkward and other times accidentally beautiful moments.
The “cone of shame” is also a way of exploring imposter syndrome or the feeling of not quite being able to do something or be something that you’re supposed to be.
